Educomp 3D Lab-a collaborative platform was introduced on the lines that “learning is fun with 3D”, however there is much more to it. 3D Lab takes learning to newer dimensions and makes it more exciting and fascinating, while the learners are equipped with better understanding of complex concepts that are tough to visualize even by standard animations. A 3D lab in itself is a novel concept for schools, it makes learning so vivid, fascinating and gives roots to the students imaginations. No longer do the students have to grapple with visualizing complicated concepts and processes. It recognises the need to build anticipation for this virtual world of learning. The feeling of awe and fascinaton that comes when one sees the 3D demonstration, should come across strongly in the communication to render it that wow factor. 3D brings with it the experience of not just seeing live examples, but enables students to be a part of it.
Our mission is to nurture the child’s natural desire to learn and grow in a quality Montessori environment leading to a harmonious and peaceful world. As a digital school, we will offer an authentic Montessori program, benefiting from continuous pedagogical oversight by the Montessori Training Center.
Math Lab is one of the innovative offerings, from LHL. This lab is aimed at enabling school students to learn and explore mathematical concepts, verify mathematical facts and theorems using technology tools. It offers Multiple Teaching, Learning Aids comprising Technology Applications, Videos, Manipulative Measuring Instruments, Tables and Charts, to school based on the three pillars of ‘Imagination, Investigation and Interaction’. It provides an opportunity for students to understand, internalize, discover and verify the basic mathematical and geometrical concepts through concrete objects and situations. Obviously this builds interest and confidence in students to learn the subject. The laboratory also allows and encourages the students to think, inquire and assimilate concepts.
The Student Computer Lab has twenty two personal computers equipped with USB Flash drives. Our Computer Lab provides Hi-Tech IT facilities to students to surf internet, research information or check e-mail at their own email address. Students can surf internet to collect data related to various subjects. The Lab is designed for computer aided learning equipped with LCD projector. The school has a new curriculum for the computer education from class 3 to 8 apart from CBSE curriculum in Computer Application. The Information Technology curriculum has been planned in such a way that the students of classes III to VIII will get exposure to various technologies and software. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic software like MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel etc.). Along with this, they get exposure to computer programming at elementary stage through the computer languages like LOGO and Q-Basic in order to improve their logical skills. The students are assessed on their practical skills over a regular time interval via projects and assignments given to them. In higher classes the students have an option to learn advanced software which is part of their curriculum.
